When Conservatives and Liberals agree...

Wow. Sometimes I wonder about my mental faculties. Seriously. I have my "id10-t" moments a lot more frequently that I care to admit. But sometimes I happen across someone that defies all logic and leaves me feeling like Einstein. I am glad that we have the 1st Amendment but instead of adding dialog that leads to the further enlightenment of mankind, it leads to really great TV interviews.
Whether or not you support the War in Iraq there really is no excuse for taking the stance that this person has taken. The only real reason for his existence, at least as far as I can see, is to prove that we really do have the right to say the most incredibly stupid and completely unsupportable things.
Let's set aside the fact that his statements offend members of the military and their families.
